If you are a resident of Dearborn or any surrounding community interested in piano lessons, our highly-qualified piano teachers are ready to help you reach your goals.  Since 2009, the professional piano instructors of Music Authority School have provided customized piano lessons for children and adults of all ages and backgrounds in the local area of Dearborn and all surrounding Wayne County.  Our goal at Music Authority School is to nurture our student's passion for the piano in a fun, comfortable, and professional environment!

First and foremost, every person is different when it comes to learning the piano, or any new skill. So whether you've had experience with the piano lessons in the past, or starting from scratch as an aspiring pianist, our piano teachers will tailor your lesson plan to accommodate your individual learning capacity.

Prior to starting piano lessons, we will evaluate your goals and pair you with a piano instructor that best suits your needs.  Our piano lessons are conducted in weekly, private sessions between the instructor and the student. In addition to private lessons, we offer piano lesson literature (available for purchase) for our students to enhance their learning outside of the private sessions.  We also strongly believe in working and learning in groups, so we arrange collaborative group piano sessions amongst our students. Our overall goal is provide ample resources to our piano students to help them flourish and excel.

Part of being a well-rounded pianist, or musician in general, is being able to perform in front of an audience. Twice a year, each one of our musicians, including piano students, participate in a recital in front of their mentors, parents, and peers.  A big part of our piano lesson plans is to sufficiently prepare our students to excel in our recitals.

Many of our Dearborn area piano students are young children looking to get a head start on their future as a pianist.  With young children, it's important to properly evaluate their learning pace before deciding if they are ready for piano lessons.  Some of our young piano pupils have started as early as age 4!  And sometimes, children need a little bit more grooming before embarking on private piano lessons.  We will conduct an evaluation with you and your child to determine if they are indeed, ready for piano lessons. For those who aren't quite yet ready, we offer a very popular program called Music Play for Beginners that introduces young children to music and the learning process involved.  When young children are properly prepared to learn their musical craft, it expedites the learning process tremendously!
