Meet Our Team

Scout Greimel

Scout Greimel - Office Manager

Scout was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, and grew up with a family highly involved in the performing arts, instilling a love and respect for various disciplines–especially musicianship. Having spent her adolescent years on the stage singing and acting, she’s quite familiar with the level of dedication necessary to hone one’s craft on both student and parent ends. She has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History & Visual Culture from Michigan State University, and has used her knowledge from her time in school and performance to work as a substitute teacher and theatre instructor for students of all ages. After taking a break from the education and arts fields to work in hospitality, Scout is thrilled to be returning in a way that combines all of her skills and allows her to support the inspirational growth of new artists every time she comes into work.

Scout loves discovering new albums, reading, baking treats, and learning new languages. When she isn’t at Music Authority, she can be found hanging out with her family, cuddling with her dog, watching her favorite horror movies, playing video games with friends, or trying new cafés in Detroit–she’s always happy to hear any recommendations!
