Westland, MI Guitar Lessons

Established in 2009, Music Authority School offers personalized guitar lessons for Westland residents and their families. Our expert guitar instructors are seasoned in offering a wide variety of specialized guitar lessons across multiple genres of music. What sets us apart from other guitar lesson providers in the Westland area is our capacity to tailor a lesson to the unique needs of each student, with an overall goal of helping our students to excel in a fun, professional, friendly environment.

We have a terrific team of guitar instructors from diverse backgrounds that are not only accomplished guitar players, but also excel in the education aspect of guitar lessons. Our guitar instructors screen each individual student to determine the best course of action for their guitar lesson curriculum, because we know that each student learns at different paces.

Many guitar schools or instructors in the Westland area may only focus on a certain age group to provide their lessons to, but we take pride in helping Westland residents of all ages excel in the art of guitar playing.  For kids, we will thoroughly evaluate a child's readiness for guitar lessons, and if we determine they are not quite ready for guitar lessons, we recommend enrolling them in a very popular program called Music Play for Beginners, which grooms young children and develops their musical interest before they embark on specialized lessons.

For older kids, adults, and seniors, you will find our guitar lessons are a great fit for you.  Whether you have some experience with the guitar and want to take your skills to the next level, or you are starting off for the first time,  we can tailor a guitar plan that will help you reach your goals!

Each one of our private guitar lessons take place once a week for each student, in-person at our school, or online for those that prefer to learn from home.  We also provide guitar lesson literature for purchase at our school, so students can learn and progress on their own time. If students need help finding a guitar, we offer guitar rentals and sales as well. In addition to private lessons, we also encourage our guitar students to practice in groups, where we find students feed off each other, in turn encouraging the learning process.

For each one of our guitar students, we prepare them for 2 recitals per year, where the student gets to perform and demonstrate their skills in front of peers, mentors, and family.  We feel formal performance is a vital part of any well-rounded musician!

In addition to Westland, we proudly offer in-person and online guitar lessons for students of all ages across S.E. Michigan, including Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Detroit, Livonia, Canton, Northville, Redford, Wayne, Allen Park, or any other Wayne County community.
