Whether you are new to the piano, or have piano experience and would like refine your skills, Music Authority School offers professional piano lessons tailored to your needs.  From our convenient location on Warren Rd. in Dearborn Heights, we provide piano lessons to Detroit-area residents and all surrounding Wayne County communities. Our highly-qualified piano instructors have trained Detroit-area students of all ages and skill levels. We focus on the individual needs of each student, and will build a piano lesson plan to nurture your passion for music in a fun and professional environment!

As every student is different, we have no definitive curriculum for our piano lessons.  Our piano instructors evaluate and screen each student to determine the best piano lesson plan for them.  Through weekly private sessions and assigned lesson books (available for purchase) our students have ample resources to nurture their learning experience.

As the piano lessons progress, the student will be exposed to a variety of different music genres to help them become a more well-rounded pianist.  Music varieties such as classical, jazz, and pop will be introduced to the student's curriculum as their skills advance.

We also encourage our advancing students to practice, and perform with other musical students. Each year, our piano lesson students participate in two recitals to demonstrate their progress to friends, family, and peers. Your piano instructor will devise a practice plan to fully prepare you for each recital.

Music Authority School can provide piano lessons for students of all ages in the Detroit area, but the majority of our piano pupils are children looking to start at a young age.  As it depends on child to child, many of our young pianists have started as early as age 4!  Our staff will assess your child's readiness to begin piano lessons, and if we find they aren't ready, we encourage them to enroll in our Music Play for Beginners Program to help prepare them for piano lessons.

In addition to the city of Detroit, we are are proud to offer personal and online piano lessons for students of all ages across S.E. Michigan, including Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Livonia, Westland, Canton, Northville, Wayne, Allen Park, or any other Wayne County community.
